CD/DVD Digipack

Here are some of the Sketches Ossie made which we are thinking of putting into the Digipack along with other photos of the artist:

Here is also my first rough draft of the front of the Album cover, we haven't really spoken about what we want to see on it yet but here is a rough picture of it.
We are yet to add the institution of our artist and also the age rating, this is as we have not discussed which instituttion is most conventional for our genre and also what age range our artist and his songs are allowed to target.

Here is my analysis of some Dubstep artists album covers: (TD)

Here is my interpretation of the typical conventions of a Dubstep album cover:

We also spoke about what house style we wanted for our artist and his album cover. We went for an urban, graffiti, gritty feel as this was the best font to decribe our artist. Here is my research into possible fonts for our artist house style:

  1. All the research of CD album covers and digipacks should go here - including some detailed textual analysis using appropriate terminology of artists from your chosen genre.
Lots of screen shots please, images and even mood boards and initial sketches/designs for your chosen digipak.
Lots of commentary (from all of you) about how you think/expect the shoot to go

  2. This is looking really nice - please try and use terminology more accurately, especially connotes and denotes. Think about the psychology of colour and the effect this has on the audiences.
