2nd Photoshoot Edit
I've been sick over this week so I wasn't able to make it to lessons. Here's some screenshots showing what I did in this week, going with the theme of our artist being politically and socially conscious. I wanted to make WAR the theme of this poster.

Changing Titles
This is one of my album cover ideas, I put a picture of the artist on the left hand side and the text on the right, I decided not to bunch the text and image together as this would create a different effect to what music our group is trying to portray.
I am sticking to the traditional conventions of a dub step album cover by keeping it basic and 'blocky'.
When I was putting together my idea of a album cover I used our artists real name to try and give the album a personal feel so that people would know our artists real name and possibly have a connection with it.
As a group we decided to change our artist's name from Silent Witness to Darren Price, and then to Illusion because this name works better with the type of music genre our group is looking at.
By using the name Illusion, it connotes a sense of mystery (want to find out more, solve the illusion) and using a one word name makes it quite short, sharp and memorable.
Action Plan 02/12/11
We need to finish filming for Wednesday 7th Dec and hopefully finished editing by the end of Wednesday so that it can be uploaded to YouTube and Social Networks sites.
Each persons CD Digipack must be completed by Friday 9th Dec so that we can hopefully at the same time, decide together which idea to use or whether to incorporate all of them.
Also each Poster advertisement from each group member needs to be complete by the same Friday so that we can also decide which one to use.
Try to get as much feedback from other people as you can, use it to develop and improve your pieces further. Also keep blogging regularly please.
