For my first idea for a poster I used a picture I took when I went to New York, it was originally a day time photo so I put the photo into photo shop and edited the brightness and contrast so it looked like a night time photo, I then added text to the bottom of the screen.
I wanted to use a skyline because the genre of music is dub step and it has a city feel to it.
Remember to add the other conventions of a poster - a myspace profile for the artist, where the album can be bought from (ie. Amazon or iTunes). Where would you put this advert?
